- There are even more of the “continued online” commercials this year. Last year, I believe those were restricted to GoDaddy. This year more companies have thrown their hat in that ring. Personally, I’m not interested in going online to continue being advertised to.
- It might just be me, but I think that the average commercial has actually gotten cheaper. It used to be that people remembered one or two select commercials. Now, people watch the Super Bowl for the commercials. I’m not saying this is new this year, but I think there is less creativity shown because companies know people are watching.
- DVRs are awesome. I can fast forward through all the announcer bullshit while the teams regroup from plays, yet still see the actual plays and commercials in real time. I hate football announcers, they set the bar for full-of-shit.
- Dockers commercial: Free pants… I can’t see what’s not to like about this.
- Dodge commercial: “I will take my socks off before I get into bed.” Who doesn’t do this? Socks are the absolute worst article of clothing to wear in bed. They cling to the covers.
- The Who appear to be too old for this… but at least there won’t be any “wardrobe malfunctions.”
- Onsides kick to start the half… ballsy.
- Just figured out how KGB KGB and CHA CHA intended to make money. Switch from free to “texts cost just $.99 each”

4. I went to the Docker’s website and signed up. Got the confirmation email, have not yet recieved the won/lost email.
5. I can confirm that socks DO stick to covers.
6. Agree that The Who looked old. Pete Townshend’s windmills looked pretty scary. Good thing there were a lot of trainers nearby.
7. Onside kick was the best play of the game.
8. Correction: only CHA CHA will make money (not KGB) because KGB does not have THE NEAL.
