I have no idea why we were awake for sunrise, but we were. And, I had a tripod and my camera, so I took a few brackets sets of pictures of the sun – obviously just after sunrise and behind a cloud. I attempted some HDR compilations, but they didn’t work to my satisfaction. This one is just a raw file prepped and exported.
Note 1: The horizon is not flat, but because it converges with the shoreline there is an optical illusion going on. If I ‘fix’ things and make the horizon flat, the entire picture looks crooked.
Note 2: The structure in the bottom left that’s just barely visible is the structure under which yesterday’s picture was taken.
