I would not consider that to be a real proposal, so you could do it however you wanted to – including by homing pigeon. Come to think of it, that’d be a fairly badass way of delivering a real life proposal. Women, take note – if you see pigeons flying overhead, shoot them down, one might be carrying a marriage proposal with your name on it, and even if it’s not, you can eat it for dinner.
