Bois Blanc Sunset

This picture of the remnants of a sunset over the Western end of Bois Blanc remains one of my favorite pictures.  From a strict picture file standpoint, it’s probably barely shrugworthy, but I thought it was really cool how there was just enough area of cloud-free sky to allow the red from the sunset to peek over the trees like a forest fire.

Picture taken with Olympus C2040z, lens @ 21mm (118mm equivalent), f/2.6, 1/60 sec shutter, ISO 100.
