A little panorama capturing the North point of the Bois Blanc Island. This was one of my first ever uses of Autostitch to combine pictures into a single shot. I believe cameras were just starting to come with software which would help do this, but most of it was a joke compared to Autostitch. The strength and weakness of the program was that you just pointed it to the pictures and hit go – it did all the detection and alignment for you, but at the same time it meant that tweaking parameters, if necessary, was as iterative affair of adjust and render which was far from real-time.
Pictures taken with Olympus C2040z, lens @ 7.3mm (41mm equivalent), f/6.3, 1/500 sec shutter, ISO 100
